These Terms & Conditions govern all reservations made through the website https://www.thebluestay.com. By booking a stay with THEBLUESTAY, you accept these conditions without reservation.

2. Scope of Application
These Terms apply to all short-term rental services provided by THEBLUESTAY via its website or any partner platforms. They define the rights and obligations of THEBLUESTAY and the guest (“the Client”).
3. Booking Process
- Reservations are made online via thebluestay.com or authorized third-party platforms.
- The booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full or partial payment, as specified in the reservation summary.
- The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information during the booking process.
4. Prices
- Prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.
- They include utilities (water, electricity, heating, internet) unless stated otherwise.
- Tourist tax may be added depending on local regulations and is payable by the guest.
- THEBLUESTAY reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, or online payment systems (e.g. Stripe, PayPal).
- A security deposit may be required and will be pre-authorized or collected prior to check-in.
6. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: from 4:00 PM (unless otherwise agreed)
- Check-out: by 11:00 AM
- Late check-outs or early check-ins may be subject to additional charges.
Guests must present valid identification at check-in and may be required to sign a rental agreement depending on local regulations.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- The cancellation policy applicable to each booking will be clearly stated at the time of reservation.
- In general:
- Free cancellation: if made more than 30 days before arrival.
- Partial refund: If it’s between 30 days and 7 days, it’s reimbursed at 50%.
- No refund: No refunds if less than 7 days in advance.
8. Use of the Premises
The Client agrees to:
- Use the property for personal accommodation only
- Not host events or parties without written approval
- Respect the rules of the building and neighborhood
- Limit occupancy to the number declared at booking
- Return the property in good condition
Failure to comply may result in termination of the stay without refund, and deduction from the security deposit.
9. Security Deposit
- A security deposit may be requested to cover damages, theft, or violation of house rules.
- If no issue is reported, the deposit is refunded within 7 days of check-out.
- Any damage or incident will be documented and communicated before deductions are applied.
10. Liability
THEBLUESTAY shall not be held liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
- Disturbances caused by third parties (e.g. neighbors, works)
- Interruptions in utility services beyond its control
Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay.
11. Insurance
The Client is strongly advised to hold personal liability insurance covering holiday rentals.
THEBLUESTAY maintains insurance for property management but is not responsible for personal belongings.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, governmental restrictions, strikes, or acts of terrorism.
13. Personal Data
Client data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR.
You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting gestion@thebluestay.com.
14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the courts of Paris, even in cases of multiple defendants or third-party claims.
